  • Father: Adam Toot4,1,5 b. 5 Nov 1770, d. 14 Apr 1839
  • Mother: Sarah King1,2 b. 28 Feb 1780, d. 11 Jan 1835
  • Born: 26 Nov 1800 in Virginia.1,3,6
  • Married: Dr. Davis Green Tuck 10 Mar 1818 in Halifax Co., Virginia.4,6
  • Died: 29 Dec 1873 in Christian Co., Kentucky.7,3
  • Buried: in the Tuck-Elliott Family Cemetery, Lafayette, Christian Co., Kentucky.3
  • Note: Alethea Jane Macon in her Tuck genealogy reports that the descendants of Davis Green Tuck have believed that the name of his wife was Elizabeth Mishen. His marriage to Elizabeth Toot has been found, but no marriage record has been found for another marriage. Davis will refers to his wife as E. M. Tuck, and his daughter Rebecca supposedly named a son Mishen, so it seems quite possible Mishen was Elizabeth's middle name.2,4
Elizabeth also appears in our Narrative Site where there is much more information about her.
