Dabney married Martha Jefferson, daughter of Peter Jefferson and Jane Randolph, on 20 Jul 1765.^5,6
Dabney died on 16 May 1773 in Charlottesville, Albemarle Co., Virginia, at age 29.^7,8
He was buried in "Monticello". He was originally buried at Shadwell, but Thomas Jefferson had his remains removed to Monticello.²
