     Ralph Edward Cors was born on 30 Nov 1908 in Cincinnati, Ohio.8,9,10
     He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, Albert George Cors and Laura Luhring.4
     His father died on 2 May 1919, when Ralph was 10 years old.18,19
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his mother.6
     Ralph enrolled in Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio, in Sep 1927.20 After graduating from Marietta College he attended University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio, Law School, graduating in 1933.21,22
     He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his mother and step-father, Cortez R. Haas.23 He appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his mother and step-father.24
     He was a lawyer, in a private practice by 1940. That year he reported he had worked 44 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year.25,26,27 He registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 245 Helen St., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was self-employed, with offices in the First National Bank building in Cincinnati.3 He was associated with the law practice of Gerritt J. Fredriks, and a law clerk for Court of Common Pleas, at the time of his marriage.2
     Ralph married Lillian Fenker, daughter of Clement Meade Fenker and Margaret Viola Thompson, on 20 Feb 1943, at her father's home on Zoellner Rd., Groesbeck, Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. R. Dale LeCount, pastor of College Hill Presbyterian Church, offciating.11,12,13
     Ralph became an assistant city prosecutor in Cincinnati soon after his marriage. During his 20 years in that role he gained a reputation for having an "acid tongue" and a ready wit, and for militantly "bugging" people who ran afoul of the municipal laws.28,29,30
     Ralph and Lillian appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3252 Dartmouth Dr, enumerated 11 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Their two children were listed as living with them.31
     Ralph and Lillian separated about 1959, but remained on friendly terms and never divorced. He lived with his mother in Cincinnati. After his retirement in 1973 he also had a house in Orlando, Florida, where he lived during the winter. About 1975 he relocated his Florida home to Satellite Beach.32,33,34,35
     He was named city prosecutor for Cincinnati in Nov 1963, after his predecessor, Robert J. Paul, retired in Nov 1963 in Cincinnati.36 He retired from the city prosecutor's office in 1973, and returned to private practice with the firm of Martin, Rack, Cors and Vale.37
     Ralph died on 17 Feb 1982 in Melbourne, Brevard Co., Florida, at age 73.14,15,16 He was buried in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, Hamilton Co., Ohio.17
