     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Gallatin, Sumner Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents, William A. Bush and Elizabeth Weathered.18
     Mattie appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Sumner Co., Tennessee, in the household of her father and Harriett Taylor, her stepmother.7
     Mattie married first Alvin R. Hill, son of Charles J. Hill and Mary M. Todd, on 2 Nov 1882 in Sumner Co., Tennessee, with Rev. James E. Scobey officiating.10,11
     Mattie and Alvin appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., Tennessee, enumerated 13 Jun 1900, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Allen, Lulu, Mary, Albert and Lillian were listed as living with them.19
     Her husband died on 29 Sep 1909 in Gallatin, Tennessee.20,21,22
     Mattie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., Tennessee, at 512 Ewing Ave., enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that she rented her home. Her children Lulu, Mary and Albert were listed as living with her.23
     Mattie married second Sebastian Glabe, son of Johann Jakob Glebe and Anna Katharina Stein, in 1927.12,13,14
