     Laura Angelina Glabe was born on 26 Oct 1886 in Holton, Kansas.7,8,9
     She moved to Illinois with her parents about 1891.14 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Sebastian Glabe and Anna Katherine Ruppel.4
     Laura married William Henry Grosenbach, son of Adam Grosenbach and Katherin E. Stormer, on 8 Sep 1909 in Chatsworth, Illinois, with Rev. M. Gronewold offciating.10,11
     Laura and William appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, enumerated 10 May 1910, reporting they were renting their farm. Hubert King, a 21-year-old hired man, was listed as living with them..15
     Laura and William appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Germanville, Livingston Co., Illinois, enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their farm, which was mortgaged. Their children LeRoy and Helen were listed as living with them.16
     Laura and William moved 120 miles north, to McHenry Co., by 1930. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Marengo, McHenry Co., Illinois, at 754 East Grant Highway, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting they were renting their home for $25 per month, and they owned a radio. Their children LeRoy, Helen, Phyllis and Kenneth were listed as living with them.17
     She was working as a cook in a restaurant in 1930.17
     Laura and William moved nearly 150 miles southwest, to Tazewell Co., by 1935. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $1,000. Their children Phyllis and Kenneth were listed as living with them, and all were reported to have lived in rural Tazewell Co. in 1935. Their son LeRoy and his family were apparently living nearby as they are listed as the preceding household.18
     She was a carpenter helper, apparently working with her husband building houses by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census she had worked 5 hours the prior week.19
     Laura and William appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 328 Doering Ave., enumerated 31 Mar 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Their children Phyllis and Kenneth were listed as living with them.20
     Laura died on 4 Oct 1962 at her home, in 313 Stahl, Washington, Illinois, at age 75.12 She was buried on 8 Oct 1962 in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Morton, Illinois.13
