     Sallie Watson Barker was born on 22 Dec 1849 at "Cloverlands", Montgomery Co., Tennessee.8,9,10
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Christian Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents, Chiles Terrell Barker and Mary Louisa Hutchison.17,18 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Hopkinsville, Christian Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents.19,20 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Hopkinsville, Christian Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents.21
     Sallie married Benjamin Harrison Logan, son of Benjamin Harrison Logan and Martha Ann Rebecca Williamson, on 29 Oct 1872.11,12,13

     Sallie and Benjamin appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Shelbyville, Shelby Co., Kentucky, enumerated 2 Jun 1880.. Their children Elizabeth and Mary were listed as living with them, The household also included six Black servants. They were Anna Freeman, age 35, a cook, and her 9 year old son Richard; Francis Davis, age 15, a nurse; and three farm hands - John Divine, age 25, Bill Muphy, age 26, and Spemcer Black, age 23. Anna also had three younger children in the household, Clara, age 9, America, age 4, and Lucy, age 2.22
     The farm she and her husband owned was managed by her brother Peter.23
     Her husband died on 4 Sep 1888 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.14,24,25
     After the death of her husband Sallie moved with her children to Christian Co. near her home place, where most of her siblings were living. She evidently operated a farm there, as she is shown as a farmer on the 1900 census.26
     She was named an heir in the will of her father, dated 1 Dec 1895, to receive several tracts at and near the property known as Bowman's Mill.27
     Sallie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Christian Co., Kentucky, enumerated 28 Jun 1900. Her children Mary, Ledley, Benjamin, Nancy and William were listed as living with her.26
     Sallie died on 11 Mar 1904 at age 54.14,15 She was buried on 13 Mar 1904 in Greenwood Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, in the Logan family plot.16
