Narrative:

William Henry Siekman was born on 26 Jul 1892 in Hebron, Boone Co., Kentucky.13,14,15
He generally used his middle name, Henry, from childhood, apparently to distinguish him from his father. As an adult, he used William as his given name only in a few formal situations.22,23,24
He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Bullittsville, Boone Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents, William Frederick Siekman and Wilhelmina Louise Wieman.11 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bullittsville, Boone Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents.12
Henry was named an heir in the will of his father, dated 6 Dec 1915, to receive an equal share with his siblings and half-siblings in all his property after the death of his widow.25
He was a laborer on his father's farm by 1910.26 He registered for the draft for World War I on 5 Jun 1917, while living at Burlington, Boone Co., Kentucky, reporting he was employed at farming by William Siekman, apparently meaning his father. But he reported his mother, father, and sister were dependent on him and claimed exemption based on having a dependant family.1 His father became an invalid with arthritis, and as a result Henry was not inducted into the army because he was the sole support of the family. After his father's death, seems to have become the "farm manager."9,27
He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Burlington, Boone Co., Kentucky, in the household of his mother.8
Henry married Blanche Aylor, daughter of Bartley E. Aylor and Nellie Riggs, on 18 Aug 1920 in Latonia, Kenton Co., Kentucky, with Rev. H. C. Runyan, pastor of the Latonia Christian Church, officiating in his residence.16,17,18
In Feb 1923 his mother went to live alternately with her daughters, Cora and Clara, and rented the farm to Henry.28
Henry and Blanche appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Burlington, Boone Co., Kentucky, on Petersburg Pike, enumerated 7 Apr 1930, reporting they , and did not own a radio. Their daughter Mildred was listed as living with them.29
On 2 Dec 1935 Henry purchased from his siblings Frederick and Clara and half-sisters, Cora Marie Snyder and Johanna Marie Doering, their shares in the land in Boone Co., Kentucky, that his father had left them all in his will, subject to the life-estate of his widow, who had died in Dec 1933. They received $6,000 for their interests in four parcels totaling 272 acres.30 He continued to farm that land the rest of his life, reporting in 1940 he had worked 72 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year. In the 1950 census he reported he had worked 60 hours the prior week.31,32,33
Henry and Blanche appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Boone Co., Kentucky, on Petersburg Rd., enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $2,000, and that they had lived in in 1935. Their daughter Mildred was listed as living with them.34
Henry registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at Burlington, Boone Co., Kentucky, reporting he was self employed as a farmer.2
Henry and Blanche appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Bullittsville, Boone Co., Kentucky, on Highway 20, enumerated 20 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.3
Henry died on 10 Oct 1963, at his home, Bullittsville, Boone Co., Kentucky, at age 71.19,20,21 He was buried on 14 Oct 1963 in Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hebron, Boone Co., Kentucky.5
