Narrative:

     Harry H. Mooberry was born on 16 Nov 1894 in Groveland Twp., Illinois.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, Milton Mooberry and Lydia R. Mooberry.5 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.6
     Harry registered for the draft for World War I on 5 Jun 1917, while living at Morton, Illinois, reporting he was a self-employed farmer in Groveland Twp.2
     Harry married first Viola May Oetzel, daughter of Adam Oetzel and Caroline Glabe, on 27 Nov 1918 in Washington, Illinois.12,13,14
     Harry and Viola May Oetzel appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, on Bloomington Rd., enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home.20 Apparently his parents lived nearby, as they are listed as the second household preceding.21
     Harry and Viola appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 30 Apr 1930, reporting that they did not own a radio. Their children Orville, Glen, Buford and Donna were listed as living with them.4
     Harry and Viola appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $3,000, and that the family had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Orville, Glen, Buford and Donna were listed as living with them.22
     He was working on the home farm in 1910, at age 15, and a farmer on his own by 1920. In the 1940 census he reported he had worked 70 hours the last week of March.23,24,25,22 He registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at Groveland, Tazewell Co., Illinois, reporting he was a self-employed farmer in Groveland.26
     He considered farming as his principal occupation, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 50 hours the prior week. But he was also vice-president of First National Bank in East Peoria by 1937. He continued in that position until at least 1958.27,28
     His wife died on 26 Apr 1949 in Peoria, Illinois.29,30
     Harry appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Cloverdale, Tazewell Co., Illinois, on Pleasant Hill Rd., enumerated 13 Apr 1950, reporting he lived on a farm. His son Glen and his wife Dorothy E. Ropp, his son Buford, and his daughter Donna and her husband George Daniel Crumrine, were listed as living with him.31
     Harry married second Irma Neumann, daughter of Charles Neumann and Louise Krause, about 1955. She was the widow of Robert Bremer.15,16
     Harry died on 3 Nov 1965 in Peoria, Illinois, at age 70.12,17,18 He was buried in Mooberry Cemetery, Tazewell Co., Illinois, next to his first wife.19
